Center for Student Relations (CSR)
The Centre for Student Relations (CSR) was launched in September 2019 to assist students who experience any difficulties with their course, as well as personal issues that may prevent them from achieving their full academic potential. The goal of the Centre is to provide an attentive customer service to our students to ensure a successful college experience. Students are assigned to a qualified and dedicated online adviser who will help them throughout their journey with us.

How an Online Adviser is allocated to a Student?

On registration, an Online Adviser is allocated to a student. This adviser will remain with the student throughout their career-cycle with us.

The adviser conducts introductory calls to their students to inform them of the Centre and to offer their full support. They continue to maintain regular contact with the student to develop one-on-one relationships with the student. Support is both academic and personal.

Each adviser is assigned to a specific group of students according to their qualification. In this way, a qualified subject matter expert can offer online support. The Online Adviser is not a replacement to the lecturer in the classroom, but an additional support service.

Throughout the year, the Online Adviser will develop a trusted relationship with the adviser to ensure a successful career journey and an enjoyable college experience.
Meet our Online Support Advisers

Yuvani Nair
I specialise in the field of chemical engineering, and have completed my N6. I am passionate about chemistry, and have an analytical mind with the ability to look at problems and find quick solutions. I am an online academic adviser for
the following faculties: Engineering, I.T and Accounting. I am available to assist with additional support in Engineering, IT and Accounting, and to assist with any other areas that are impacting on your studies.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual, and always give off 100% in everything that I do. In my free time, I enjoy baking and reading.

Nomagugu Mbhense
I am a young woman, who is passionate about the field of Travel and Tourism. I hold an Honour’s Degree in Recreation and Tourism and a Degree in Tourism Studies. I am a highly motivated individual with excellent time management skills.
I am passionate about developing and nurturing students and I am available to assist students in the field of HR, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Journalism and Supply Chain Management.

Romell Jaganathan
My area of expertise is IT and I currently hold a Diploma in Information Technology, specialising in Software Development. I provide online support to students in the Information Technology and Engineering courses.
I am self-motivated, tenacious and always aim to give 200 percent in every challenge that I take on. I am an avid reader, a keen traveller and an enthusiastic cook. I enjoy meeting new people and I am passionate about assisting others wherever I can.
